Micro Series

The Micro series of SubConn® connectors was developed to suit the increasingly smaller size of underwater instruments. They are ideal for diving, ROV, ocean science, underwater video and leisure applications.

Based on the original series, the compact Micro series is available with 2 to 16 contacts in the standard in line version and in bulkhead versions. They are rated to full ocean depth. Micro low profile connectors are available with 3, 7 and 9 pins.

Description

The SubConn® Micro series is manufactured from high grade neoprene with naval brass bulkhead bodies and available in 4 shell sizes with up to 16 contacts rated for 300 to 600 V at 5 to 15 Amps, depending on the contact configuration. They are available as in-line and bulkhead connectors as standard, with pressure proof dummy connectors. Most cables are water resistant SOOW flexible cables, and locking sleeves are manufactured from injection moulded Delrin with stainless steel retaining snap rings. Bulkhead connectors come with numbered Teflon leads. 2-12 pin connectors are available as field installable overmould connectors.
